| You are given 8 litters of water, and 3 baskets each can hold 8, 5, 3 liters of water respectively. what's the most efficient way to put 4 litters of water in 2 of the baskets? |

what counts as 1 try?.. for instance.. if I split the 8 liters into the 3 and 5 cup.. does that count as 1 try or 2 tries? |

what constitutes one try? well, honestly, I am not sure either 
the important thing is whether the solution is the most efficient or not.
so if I count it as two tries, I will also consistantly count similar moves as two tries in other cases.  |

ok.. then does the 8 liters of water start off in the 8 liter container? or somewhere else?
I came up with 8 moves.. or 7 if the water starts off in the 8 liter container.. |
